Project Outline

  • Title of the Project : Passenger Behavior Survey for the Establishment of Aviation Marketing Strategy
  • Relevant reference : A subsidized project supported by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism
  • Main Tasks

    - In-depth survey of attaining and collection baseline data for the government policy and airport marketing, strategy to attract foreign tourists

    - analyzing the behaviors of passengers that depart from Korea (including foreigners)

    - analyzing the behavior of passengers that board on 15 private airlines.

  • Expected results

    - contribute to the development of an overall aviation industry by providing the stakeholders with the results of surveys as a basis for establishing airline marketing strategies.

    - contribute to the increase the number of foreign passengers by developing new potential air routes that can meet the demand of foreign passengers.

    - By considering the geographical and cultural differences of the countries, airports can operate more efficiently and also bring a boost to the local tourism industry.

  • Accomplishments

    - 2012( July, September, November): 9078 survey reports (local people : 4894 foreign people : 4184)

    - 2013 (July, September, August, September, October, November): 9136 survey reports (local people : 5193, foreign people : 3943)
