Background

• As the public demand for an internet-based, customized information on aviation has increased, an internet portal has been developed, which can collect information from different services of aviation-related organizations and groups and provide the integrated information as a singular channel.

Objective

• To build and operate the portal system with increased information accessibility for the public, aviation personnel and experts by creating databases for each aviation sector and to enhance the researches in the industry.

• 2006 : Aviation information portal system established
• 2007 : A nationwide services of Aviation Information Portal System began
• 2011 : Development of smart flight schedule app (version 1.0)

  - An up-to-date flight arrival & departure information became available on mobile phones

• 2012: Upgrade of smart flight schedule app (version 2.0 and version 2.1)

  - airport weather information, world time, detailed airport weather widget
