KCA was established in 1992 under the authority of Civil Aviation Bureau of Republic of Korea.
KCA advocates on behalf of its members to shape crucial policies and strategies that promote aviation industry. KCA's members are KAC(Korea Airports Corporation), IIAC(Incheon International Airport Corporation), Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Air Busan, Jeju Air and Jin Air.
Korea's air transport industry has grown continuously over the years and maintaining its 8th biggest market position in the world. Incheon International Airport has become the hub of Northeast Asia region. 14 other airports including Gimpo International Airport have played leading roles as multi-functioning airports such as 'airport city'. And, as one of ICAO Council States, Korea cooperates and collaborates on various global issues, short & long term goals with other Member States.
KCA represents interests of airports and airlines in cooperation with the Korean government and international organizations. KCA conducts aviation researches, policy developments for Korea’s aviation industry and also provides training programs on international aviation safety, security and air navigation facilities for aviation professionals from developing countries.
KCA will put our utmost efforts to lead and support sustainable development of aviation industry.
